This role is deeply challenging but rewarding. You will work to deliver an excellent experience that serves the doctors + nurses who use Arena Strive, our pioneering platform to coach frontline medical teams. Your focus will be on enhancing our coaching team, streamlining our learning journey, and improving integration of the biometric data we gather.
The Arena Strive PM is vital and central to our team. Success starts with obsessing about the clinician experience, and infusing human performance tools + learning into Arena Strive, “Healthcare’s First Performance Coach” in a way that is accessible to each clinician that logs in.
We are seeking someone with product experience who has the capacity to immediately impact product team alignment and build a roadmap. Our team is in need of a leader who can build simplicity and process at a rare moment of growth and evolution. The ideal candidate brings seasoned product management experience, excels at stakeholder communication, and can rapidly impose order and structure in a dynamic, growth-stage environment.
Our team is open to a 90-Day, high-impact consultancy contract for a seasoned Product Leader interested in a longer-term executive hire. The first 90 days would focus on impact and ensuring fit, with conversations about shaping a follow-on leadership role at the 60-day mark.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Alignment:
- Collaborate with the executive team to clarify our core value proposition and ensure that our product roadmap directly reflects high-level strategic initiatives.
- Translate mission and brand identity into a compelling product narrative, ensuring the Striver learning journey and related features align with organizational goals.
- Framework & Process Implementation:
- Establish a scalable product management framework, leveraging best practices and proven methodologies.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for key personas (clinicians and other users), applying a structured lifecycle approach (Activate, Adopt, Adore, Advocate).
- Roadmap & Prioritization:
- Evaluate existing product features and learning modules to create a clear, prioritized roadmap focused on quick wins and foundational improvements.
- Work closely with engineering, design, coaching, and content teams to align on timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- User-Centric Optimization:
- Partner with coaching and wearable data teams to integrate user feedback and data insights into product enhancements.
- Ensure that the learning journey is intuitive, data-informed, and continually refined for better user engagement and outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a key liaison between executive leadership, product teams, and other stakeholders to maintain open communication and transparency.
- Help the team adopt a consistent rhythm of product discovery, development sprints, and retrospectives.
- Short-Term Wins & Long-Term Foundations:
- Deliver immediate structure and clarity to set the stage for sustainable growth.
- Document frameworks, guidelines, and best practices for a future permanent Head of Product to seamlessly take over.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 7+ years in product management roles. If coming in as a consultant, looking for at least 3 years in a leadership position such as Head of Product or Director of Product at a growth-stage company.
